2. What data is processed?

The service may process the following information:

- Free-form text entered into the service by the user

- User's email address

- The user's other contact information and/or billing address

- Other information entered by the user

In addition, the service processes network identification data generated from the use of the service (e.g. IP address).

The information is treated as confidential.

3. Where does the information come from?

The information is obtained either from the user himself or from a separate service subscriber who makes the service available to the user.

If the service provider processes user e-mail addresses managed by the service subscriber, which are used for access control, on behalf of the service subscriber, this information is processed within the scope of the privacy statement under which it was collected by the subscriber.

4. For what purpose is the data processed?

The information entered by the user into the service is used to provide the functionality of the service, i.e. to process the data and prepare a response for the user.

The user's email address is required for access control.

The user's contact information and/or billing address is needed for statutory accounting purposes, if the user is a paying customer of the service.

The use of the service generates usual network identification data (e.g. IP address, cookies) and log data (e.g. page downloads). The service provider can use this information, for example, for troubleshooting and analytics purposes. Online identification information is not combined with other information entered by the user, including any personal information.

5. Is information handed over or transferred to third parties?

The service provider uses third-party interfaces to provide the service. In this case, the information is handed over to the relevant parties for processing. The interfaces used have been selected so that they guarantee the rights of the service user according to this privacy statement, e.g. so that they do not store data for longer than is defined in this privacy statement.

Information can be passed on to different authorities if there is a legal basis for doing so. Information about the customer can be disclosed to carry out the tasks referred to in the law without being hindered by confidentiality regulations and other restrictions on access to information. If there is no legal basis for the transfer of data, the data will only be forwarded with the customer's consent.

6. Is data transferred outside the EU/EEA area?

Data can be transferred outside the EU/EEA area as part of data processing.

7. How long is the data kept?

In order to provide the functionality of the service and enable troubleshooting, the information entered by the user can be stored by the service provider for a maximum of 60 days.

Online identification information is stored for a maximum of 1 year.

8. How is data protected?

Information stored in information systems is stored in a secure environment. Network traffic between the user's browser and the service provider's server is TLS protected.
